Synopsis:
In Four Stories About Water, the Navajo describe water contamination problems caused by uranium mining, petroleum drilling, bacteria, and natural causes. They detail the devastating health consequences of this contamination and what people are doing to avoid further problems, such as hauling water. People who are working on health studies and environmental cleanup discuss efforts to prevent future illnesses and remediate the more dangerous radioactive sites. Four Stories About Water is mostly in Navajo with English subtitles.
