Synopsis:
91 years of the tortured and majestic life of a Ukrainian man who is hard-tempered by the prison's plank bed and Siberian frosts, who so wanted to see his land free and was just a year short of witnessing the Declaration of Independence. However, there is a cinema, an amazing and beautiful illusion, an unique opportunity of the impossibilities to be, where the dead characters are brought back to life, and the most important is the ability to see both the past and the future, which cannot be seen while alive. In particular, the formation and present times of modern Ukraine; the independence, which had been awaited and strived for so much by Stepan Kozhumyaka during his suffering life. This time he gets such a real opportunity. And that independence our character dreamed about? That question remains open.
