El Pájaro Espejo| 27mins
Director: JM Salvatierra & Hache | Producer: Hache
Focus Years: 2009 | Country: Finland
Synopsis:
Bubisher, besides meaning “a bird that brings luck”, is the name of a lorry loaded with Spanish literature that serves the Sahrawi refugee camps of Tindouf. The communication of two cultures through short stories and tales might seem paradoxical, but so is the contrast between the efforts of a young generation of women to overcome the odds and the reality of life in the desert.
