Man is the most powerful species on the planet. He has completely taken over the natural world. Among his many quests, the major one is capturing wild birds, animals and continued enslaving them for his entertainment. Nowadays, wing trimming and clipping has become one of the most popular methods to prevent birds from flying. Many bird vendors around the world and also in “Dongdaemun” market in South Korea have been practicing the trimming of bird feathers & selling them off to the customers. However some people have raised their voice against wing trimming. This documentary film is a collaborative effort to portray the complete dominance of humans in the natural world, even at a very minute level, such as taking away the freedom of birds to fly and evoke the thought among the viewers whether wing trimming is right or wrong, and also the opinions of leading veterinarians, professors, students & the general public have been projected here. This aims to bringing awareness about difficulties of birds after their wings are trimmed.
