Synopsis:

Cancer meant that Robin af Ekenstam had to amputate his right hand. He was only 21 years old. When Robin hears of an advanced artificial hand, he volunteers to participate in the development. Science for Life is a journey into scientific progress seen through the eyes of ordinary citizens who benefit from it. It also looks at the vast financial resources invested in scientific research to win a stake in the global competition to be first in shaping the visions for the future.
