Synopsis:
With growing urbanization in the country, the ratio of people living in villages and cities is continuously changing. Cities are expanding. Where one could find fields only yesterday is widespread in habitation today. Rural areas previously on the periphery of cities are now within city limits. They may very well have come inside the city limits, but are still bereft of the basic urban amenities. This kind of areas are defined as peri-urban. Safe and secure habitation is a basic requirement for everyone. People opt to live in peri-urban areas for many reasons, but face hardships for one reason or another. This short film analyzes the different reasons for those hardships.
