Synopsis:
A few decades ago, the local population of the Bodocongo's neighborhood, located in Campina Grande (ParaÃba, Brazil), began to protest and denounce the contamination of the Bodocongo's dam, caused by the sewer (more than 60 entrances in the dam have been photographed by the activists), heavy metals, chemicals and other pollutants. In this documentary, we've followed some of the actors of this protest, like "Santo da terra" (Saint of the earth), a defender of the environment. Please note that one month after the editing of this short documentary, the State Government of ParaÃba, together with the Federal Government of Brazil and the local mayor, officially started the revitalization works of the dam and its surroundings.
