Director: Maria Van Munster & Crusson, Cyril | Producer: Maria Van Munster
Focus Years: 2012 | Country: France
Synopsis:
Intensive soya cultivation in Argentina has enticed the greed of large landowners who stop at nothing to expel subsistence farmers and ruin areas of unspoiled nature. Many peasant farmers fled the violence and now inhabit overcrowded slums in urban centers.
Others decided to remain, to organize a resistance movement and fight so as not to lose a meter more of their land.
The land belongs to those who cultivate it.
