Director: Maud Salome Cadiere Ekila | Producer: EkillZ MakillZ Prod
Focus Years: 2010 | Country: France
Synopsis:
For 400 years, millions of people were deported from Africa to work as slaves for the American and European economies.
Many of them were from Kongo.
This movie talks about their history and their descendants.
Nevertheless, after 1848, the official date of the abolition of the slavery, a thousand people were still deported from the Kingdom of Kongo to the French West Indies. They can only supernaturally keep their real names.
They were thus "researchable."
