This documentary narrates the life and contemporary social and political engagement against racism, sexism, and colonialism of the poet and activist Maria Mariposa Fernandez. She Lives in New york and moves back and forth between the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The film is based on the concept to let her tell her own story through word, chant, images and performance.
