Dr. Vandana Shiva explains her pioneering role in taking Vedic ideas of Ecofeminism to the West. She did this over a period of several decades starting in the 1970s. Now these ideas have become digested into the Western feminism movement. They have forgotten the Vedic origins. Rajiv Malhotra has been developing a series of books to expose this DIGESTION of Vedic knowledge into Western knowledge. This must become part of Indian education & research so people reconnect with Vedic systems and apply them in the modern context.
