Synopsis:
How can we deal with the social outcasts? How can a bond be restored? We rarely look at those who are sitting in the street. They are at a child's height. They catch each other's glances. The director of a Children's House in Lyon has devised an original educational project: to organize meetings between the children and homeless people of the neighborhood. Delicately, this film casts a humane glance on the reality of the homeless. In front of children, and in spite of their poverty, mental troubles, loneliness and suffering, these people open up. And what then appears to our eyes is a torn up humanity, full of contradictions, occasionally futile, but always alive. This film was co-produced and released by KTO & Cap canal, and made with the support of the Rhône-Alpes region, the city of Lyons and the CNC. Festival selections: Festival of the educational film (2005), First prize at the Festival of social action film (2007).
