Synopsis:
The return of Gonzalo de Reparaz' archive to Catalonia, to the headquarters of the Cartographic Institute to be precise, is the pretext for this evocation of his life from a human as well as a professional point of view. Starting out from his beginnings at the Hiking Club of Catalonia, where he adopted a political stance in favour of the Catalan independence movement that would on day force him into exile, we go on to discover his first works in the Vic Plain. We follow the trail of his adventures in occupied France and his later adventures as a member of UNESCO, as we travel to Peru to explore the deserts of the Ica, the Nasca lines, the Ballestas islands and the Colca valley, among other places seen from his perspective.
