La Terra Habitada| 1hr : 10mins
Director: Anna Sanmartà | Producer: Marta Andreu
Focus Years: 2009 | Country: Spain
Synopsis:
We leave behind an accumulation of sounds and images, where things are losing little by little their names.... A train brings us far away, to Mongolia. The trip begins. While traveling, we are met by unknown faces, new melodies and gestures that get confused with the landscape. Looking for finding oneself in a strange land, trying to get to move within it. In the way, at each step it seems that we are just about to reach our destination, but softly it vanishes in front of our eyes, driving us to keep walking. This land emerges as it is, it flows simply but deep, giving us the sense of its existence just being captured by images. In the end, it strongly inhabits us. And from this point, we might be able to rediscover the place from which we could be able to look at the world again.
