Synopsis:
In 2000 the government of Cameroon created a special unit, the Operational Command Unit, to tackle high criminality in the region of Douala. This unit becomes responsible for the disappearance of more than 1,000 people. In this documentary Osvalde Lewat tackles the question posed by Nigerian Nobel Laureate author Wole Soyinka: “They say Africans are not ready for democracy. So I wonder: have they ever been ready for dictatorship?“
