Synopsis:
The inhabitants of Garla Mare, a small village in Romania on the banks of the Danube, are trying to improve the drinking water from their wells. Their water has been polluted by nitrates, bacteria and pesticides. Through eco-sanitation, organic farming and water-filters for vulnerable groups, the people of Garla Mare strive to ensure the cleanliness of their drinking water.
