Synopsis:
The film explores the Nenet family's everyday life. All action takes place on Yamal Peninsula. The main family occupation is reindeer breeding. Even the four-year-old boy never misses in catching the deer. The most simple and ordinary family’s actions are submitted to the ancient philosophy that is transferred from one generation to another through the centuries. “Yaptik-hasse” is a spirit of Yaptik family. He is carried on the sacred sledge (drawn by reindeer or dogs). The road is his home. As long as he wanders, there will always be deer, dogs and Nenets.
