First screened at the Environmental Film Festival of Accra, Ghana on June 5th, 2010, "Fantastic in Plastic" is the story of a very special competition at the factory of Trashy Bags, a social enterprise in Accra that collects plastic waste from the streets of Ghana and turns the waste into useful and attractive bags and other products. The film shows that in using both creativity and imagination, even plastic waste can be fun!
