This documentary is a powerful insight into the lives of five refugees that ended up in Lebanon. The documentary is told through the intimate stories of five characters that come from different countries and backgrounds but whose life and experience as a refugee is intertwined. Through their stories, the documentary manages to give a raw portrait of loss, fear, persecution, and at the same time, hope. “I Come From a Beautiful Place” is a film about refugees in Lebanon but also about refugees anywhere in the world.
