Synopsis:
The Livelihoods and Forestry Programme (LFP) has been enhancing the lives of rural people in Nepal since its inception in 2001. A non-governmental organization, LFP is supported by the UK government’s Department for International Development (DFID) and the Government of Nepal (GoN). Working in 15 districts of Nepal and encouraging the good practice of sustainable forest management, LFP has begun to improve the livelihoods of the people living within these communities.
