Synopsis:
At the threshold of the Sahelian desert, in an acacia forest, a project is born. Chad is the worldwide leader for acacia seyal gum export. This sector contributes to the livelihoods of more than two million people. Danone and CNI export have created a fund: for each kilo of acacia gum bought in Europe, they supply it to support the development of local communities. The key aim of the project is to strengthen the acacia gum chain, by increasing the value of the acacia tree - thus helping to protect the environment.
