Synopsis:
“Consume To Forget†is a film that tries to convey our carefree and selfish consumerist attitudes, which are irresponsibly destroying and exhausting the natural resources of our planet the Earth. For example, the irreplaceable rainforest, which we destroy in order to raise and feed cattle to then sell it in developed countries, and/or bio-fuels to run our cars. Moreover, agriculture in the developing countries has nothing to do with feeding their own people and instead is mostly destined for the richer countries that can afford to buy these resources. The amount that a cow eats to produce a mere eight ounces of hamburger would feed 40 children per day in developing countries.
