Synopsis:
Noravanq gorge has been of historical importance. There were gardens there in Middle Ages, and the Noravanq congregation was using them. Gnishik River was running through that gorge, and due to the river there was also very rich fauna and flora. But in the 1990s, the river was transferred to the Rind village via tubes, and the gorge deprived of water. Now it’s turned into a small rill. One of the most beautiful parts of the Vayots Gorge is now dry and deserted. The film also tells about the Eghegis River: hydroelectric stations have been built across it. If we don’t preserve this river, Eghegis Gorge will also become dry - just like Noravanq Gorge - damaging its flora and fauna. Noravanq Gorge should serve as a sobering example for Eghegis.
