In a mountainous region of Djerdap, Eastern Serbia, in the 21st century: a family lives at a lonely remote place in a heavenly-looking region washed by the sun. They are in deepest contact with all the elements. We follow their primeval life, their traditional rites and customs connected with Easter. They still live under the oil lamp light, although a giant hydroelectric power station is roaring in their neighborhood!
