Synopsis:
Normandy is a land full of stories and legends often linked to trees. “Tree-Height” is a story about trees and men in Normandy, where one can come across the guardians of the dead (millenary yew-trees), nostalgic trees (the elm of Maizet) or trees worn out by time (the oak in Allouville Bellefosse). This is a gallery of portraits, based on a poetic interpretation that finds its source in the observation of historical or scientific phenomena. Through its temporality and dreaminess, “Tree-Height” tries to examine these legends from the perspectives of trees and men.
