Synopsis:
For the last 30 years, the everyday life of a shepherd meets the daily activity of one of the biggest NATO air bases in Europe. The video correlates two irreconcilable worlds by a progressive addition of information obtained through minimal events, pauses and slow camera movements. The island of Sardinia (Italy) is situated in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, it is a place with a very ancient culture. At the same time it is the most militarized region in Italy. While I am writing this, the air base is being used by the coalition for bombing Libya.
