Synopsis:
The film includes short characteristic of grasslands in Poland, and it presents three machines for sowing the specially selected grass seeds mixtures into meadow turf. Two of them are adjusted to carry out the sub-sowing measure by the method of turf cutting, and then introducing the seeds of desired grass species. The first machine cuts the turf with two disc coulters that are diagonally opposite, it and sows the seeds into the formed gap. The second one cuts the turf with one coulter, and then it widens it with a special wedge making a gap into which the seeds are sown. The third machine is the cultivation-sowing aggregate for wide strip sub-sowing, and it is composed of a special cultivator and of three seeders - one for application of fertilizers, one for grass seeding and one for papilionaceous seeding. The film presents the machines during their operation, describes their activity range and exploitation parameters as well.
