Synopsis:
The world ocean in becoming increasingly contaminated by marine debris that compromises the oceanic food chain. In addition, plasticizers used as softeners in manufacturing plastics, are now ubiquitous in the environment and can lead to endocrine disruption, and intersex in high trophic level feeders like seals, swordfish, whales, mahi mahi, dolphins, and humans.
