Synopsis:
“Nosy Maitso “is a project designed to enhance the conservation education programs being offered by Centre ValBio, a research station in the high mountainous rainforests of the Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar. Wildlife in Madagascar is diminishing rapidly due to poor agricultural practices, logging, and encroaching human populations. Centre ValBio seeks to stem this destruction, and the Nosy Maitso project has become an important element in their programs by bringing video education to rural communities surrounding the park, where even television is a rarity.
