Synopsis:
Members of the Kuna community of Ustupu created this film to document Kunu Culture, which is based on coordination and respect for nature. The first part is about gabir, a fermented beverage that is made differently according to the use. The second part focuses on gammy burwi (“the dance of the flutesâ€) and discusses the male and the female instruments: the flute and the rattle. The third part shows how a traditional knowledge specialist uses anmar igargan (traditional knowledge) and ants as a traditional medicine.
