Synopsis:
A scientific team takes part in an adventure descending an Iberian river, from the source to the mouth. In this imaginary trip, the scientists will discover innumerable fresh water species who lives in the Portuguese and Spanish rivers and lakes. Most of them are dangerously threatened. But this is just one part of the journey. From Portugal, the expedition crosses oceans into the discovery of water species living in the great African lakes and Amazonian bay. The Rivus Expedition identifies more than 50 species of fish and reptiles that still survive on our planet, though many are endangered.
