Synopsis:
The untold story of Native Americans who settled in Europe at the time of the colonization. In particular, they depict the story of descendants of Lakota Sioux ancestry who traveled to and settled in Europe unwillingly. Catherine Masset and Wamblee La_Tanka are both Sioux Nations descendants born and living in France who struggled to discover and preserve their native heritage in multicultural Europe. Part 1 of the documentary introduces Catherine and Wamblee, their living environment in the south of France, and their life-long quest to uncover the truth and history about their ancestry. They reveal how strongly their anthropological DNA still actively motivates them.
