Director: Pinky Brahma Choudhury | Producer: Samaj Pragati Sahayog
Focus Years: 2007 | Country: India
Synopsis:
Even as we worry about where the water for the morrow is to come from, we forget to look around us, at the bounty with which we are already blessed. Have we done all we can, to harness what we have, to tackle an apparently insoluble problem? This film describes very simple, low-cost methods to address the problem of water - methods that can easily be used by local people, utilizing locally available natural resources. This film is about the treatment of streams with gabion structures under watershed management to minimize soil erosion and increase the life of streams beyond the monsoon.
