Synopsis:
The film aims at familiarizing opinion makers with the niches in heating and cooling markets, where renewable energy sources can be successfully introduced or their share can be expanded. In the movie, policy makers as well as owners and initiators of bio-energy plants explain about their personal involvement in the promotion and application of innovative bio-energy technologies. The movie covers showcase bio-energy plants in Estonia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Austria, e.g. for the combustion of wood and the digestion of organic residues, applied for space heating, steam production, decentralized power generation, etc in both the domestic and industrial sector.
