Synopsis:
“Melt” was created in 2009, and it's initial inspiration was from singer/songwriter Corinne Gibbons. Corinne collaborated with two of her oldest friends and colleagues to create a musical journey and a multi-sensory experience. The intention was to connect people to the planet and to each other by fusing pop music and natural history footage. Each song on “Melt” is accompanied by footage encompassing scenes from Antarctica, Chile and Norway amongst others. The footage comes courtesy of Lindblad Expeditions/National Geographic. The marriage of this natural history footage and the songs is something quite unique, creating a sense of connection to our planet and to each other. “Melt” is dedicated in loving memory of Danielle Gibbons.
