Synopsis:
This short film gives a poignant insight into the profound transformation of individuals-whom for whatever reason-have been drawn into lives of criminal activity, and have ended up imprisoned as a consequence. Breathe SMART is a powerful personal development program and has been specifically designed with prisoner rehabilitation in mind. The film is set in Denmark, through the eyes of Jacob Lund, a Breathe SMART teacher in Copenhagen. It takes us on a journey into the Danish prison system, looks at a number of inmates who have taken the program, and follows their experiences and reflections as a result.
