Synopsis:
Manna is a 'vintage' experimental documentary made by Simon G. Powell, author of The Psilocybin Solution and Darwin's Unfinished Business. As with all of Powell's work, the film concerns humanity's relationship with Nature and how we conceive of Nature. In particular, the film looks at the role of psilocybin mushrooms in expanding our consciousness and allowing us to perceive the wondrous intelligence that infuses reality and which is most clearly apparent in the evolution of life. There is an original score throughout the film.
