This documentary by filmmaker Trevor McKay, is an interview with So. Cal. Artist, Healer, Shaman and Teacher Jen Schichi. She shares her wisdom and experience about shamanism,and why being connected to the earth is essential for a balanced, healthy life and also why and how energy healing works.
The second half of the film presents an in depth look at her practice of Sacred Tattooing. Sacred tattooing honors the powerful energy of transformation for her clients spiritual based tattoos. Jen creates a collaborative ceremony with each person ensuring the intention and energy behind the tattoo is in alignment with their spirit.
Includes interviews with clients, friends and family members.
