In this video eleven women who are ordained members of the Western Buddhist Order speak of their efforts to integrate motherhood and family into their lives as fully committed Western Buddhists. Nine of the women have children, two of them have chosen not to. Taken collectively their experiences provide a fascinating insight into the complexity of issues surrounding this topic of vital relevance to many modern women.
The women in the video communicate a wide range of different perspectives. Structured in sections it goes into such areas as: lifestyle, conditions, meditation, challenges and joys, attachment, choice and leaving home.
