Before she dies, a mother tells her daughter about a dream that she had a long time ago. Using this as the point of reference, this short film deals with the question of death and spirit. Set in the tranquil Himalayas, the daughter, a Buddhist nun, tries to fathom the significance of her mother's dream. How will her mother be reborn? How will the spirit enter into a new life? Using the Buddhist philosophical logic of the interdependence of all things, the film shows the relationship between life, death, the spirit in Bardo, the intermediate stage, and eventual rebirth.
