How do you know that God exists?| 48mins
Director: Antony Thomas | Producer: Antony Thomas
Focus Years: 2009 | Country: United Kingdom
Synopsis:
The programme features in-depth interviews with five leading figures in the UK’s principle denominations and faiths – Dr. Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury; Vincent Nichols, the recently appointed Catholic Archbishop of Westminster; Sir Jonathan Sacks, the Chief Rabbi; Professor Tariq Ramadan and Sadhu Paramtattvadas.
As well as addressing the “big questions†– from their concepts of God, heaven and hell – all five contributors speak frankly about their struggle and moments of doubt, about the divisions within their ranks and the crimes that have been committed in the name of religion.
