Synopsis:
This film focuses on how healing is possible at deeper levels when we can emphatically witness when our ego is activated in any given moment. One way to work with ourselves is looking at our ego as if it were the focus of a 12 step program: "Egos Anonymous." The main objective of this talk between two teachers is to apply this theme in your own life by doing the following inquiry and personal integration: Where is my ego revealing itself in a way that is causing suffering in my life? How much can I care for it? See if you can respond to your ego in a way that allows more compassion. This practice can be done alone or with a friend, lover, or counselor. Take a few minutes or longer to contemplate and answer the question. When done with another, it is essential that the listener remains neutral.
