Focus Years: 2011 | Country: United States
Synopsis:
Learn how to develop strength and compassion in the face of self-criticism, and staying open to the truth that may be embedded in the judgment. What is the recurring internal criticism about myself that I believe may have some validity, and that I could possibly do something about? Finding criticism that has validity isn’t always easy to uncover and tolerate. However, it is well worth the time to question and discover. Self-judgment and rejection are often the deepest forms of suffering. This is because some part of it may be true, but the energy in which it’s delivered can be destructive. We are on a journey here to separate the true message from the chiding criticism, and not be overwhelmed by the energy of the tone.
