Synopsis:
This film explores the difference between believing something spiritually, and knowing absolutely. This key lack of discernment has been the source of war, alienation, and is in opposition to what values all the great traditions teach. The unity in finding this humility of not knowing is a great source of inspiration and wisdom. The main objective of this talk between two teachers is entice viewers to apply the theme to their personal lives by doing the inquiry and personal integration: Regardless of specific faith or lack of it, allow yourself to vulnerably question with a sense of mystery, explore whether you absolutely “know†what will happen to you after death. This practice can be done alone or with a friend, lover, or counselor. Take a few minutes or longer to contemplate and answer the question. When done with another, it is essential that the listener remains neutral.
