SHINE A LIGHT (created Pro bono by The Betterment Bureau, a department of Loyalkaspar Inc.) celebrates 50 years of Amnesty International shining a light on human rights issues through the power of letter writing.
Today, Amnesty International has grown into a global movement of more than 3 million people, united by the commitment to freedom and human rights for all. In SHINE A LIGHT, appeal letters become light boxes representing people from all walks of life that have joined Amnesty International in order to help win the freedom of tens of thousands of prisoners of conscience, shut down torture chambers, halt executions and establish treaties and laws to protect the freedom and dignity of millions in countries around the world. It challenges each of us to add our voice to the movement and to become a force for human rights.
