Director: Maxim Subbotin | Producer: Maxim Subbotin
Focus Years: 2010 | Country: Belarus
Synopsis:
Darya Domracheva, one of the best biathletes of the world and leader of the national biathlon team of Belarus, took a video camera to capture all the most interesting things in the form of a video diary.
Today, after her successful Olympic Games in Vancouver, more than 500 hours of the material was edited to create a film. It's a unique author's viewpoint of a bright sportswoman in the world of professional sport. Her life in a team and the complicated way to her first Olympics, starts at the pedestals of world cups. Hence, the film was basically shot abroad; it's plot is full of love for Darya's native country, Belarus. Perhaps, that is the dominant semantic of the film.
