"The Story of Shreen Saroor" is about a Sri Lankan woman who won the inaugural N-Peace Awards from Sri Lanka. The N-Peace awards acknowledges the leadership role of women in building peace, empowering their communities and preventing violence. It is an initiative by UNDP Asia Pacific Centre to strengthen the role of women in leading community recovery, and building and restoring peace. The network is actively working in Nepal, Indonesia, Timor-Leste and Sri Lanka.
