Synopsis:
Losing his mother early after the war, Uncle Imre goes to the town and works at different places. After his father’s death, he still has a farm aside from his job, but after retiring he cannot find his place, which he had since 1933. He returns to his ancestors’ land and he finally decides to live ’a free life’. Having grown up in the world of farming for several generations, Imre Dobos is led back by the power of tradition to his ancestors’ land where he finds ’smart and honest’ days so important for him.
