Synopsis:
Two children share the same tragedy; the abandonment of their mother. A mother, who left her two young children behind, with fear and hunger. Will they overcome the pain, the memories? They tell us all about their story, their dreams, their hope to meet their mother once again. Their testimony is direct and honest. A discreet camera is the quiet witness of their silence. The boy writes a letter to his mother who he hasn’t seen for years. The original music of the documentary is a balm on an open wound. We are listening to those who rarely speak of their reality, a sacred and delicate subject… an absent mother.
