Synopsis:
What does it mean to lose your house? How does beginning one's life over from zero look like? Where is the strength found to not fall into despair? Through the story of one family that has fallen into a critical situation, this film explores the human being's ability to withstand the extreme challenges of not only losing a house but also losing a home. On 1 October 2008 the Kriauleidziai family house went up in flames. Evaldas and Zigfrina Kriauleidziai and their three- year old daughter Eligija, as well as Evaldas' brother Gintautas and sisters Aiste and Edita were left without a roof over their heads. Their neighbour allowed the family, taking care of a big farm, to take a shelter in his empty house until the Kriauleidziai home is restored.
